I used to write posts like yours many years ago when I was going
through a nervous breakdown. It's quite saddening to look back &
wonder why.
If you want something from life I'd suggest compassion as a radical
alternative to your present choice. To misquote someone - if your
happiness depends on other peoples opinions, you will never be happy
