Salut Friends
When should I become concerned about a life-long tendency to
palpitations increasing and changing to something more?
Since pre-teens at least I have had palpitations. Seems to be in the
family as when I complained about it I got "oh yes like grandma". I did
then, often, and still sometimes, faint or near faint. I am soooo tired
all the time and can't get through the day without sleeping. I have to
go at my life in shifts. Sleep, work, whatever, sleep.
At night I often feeling like my heart is lurching. It only lasts
seconds, perhaps one minute at most, a couple times a night and has
been increasing over the past couple months. I'll have times with none,
and times where it will occur a couple times a day.
I have also almost always had a jumpy irregular pulse. So I'm used to
it.
Can palpitations become something more serious? I had all that nuclear
imaging etc in April, stress test whatever. I'm fine.
I don't seem to be able to *reproduce* this for a doctor.
Thoughts? I'm a hypochondriac?
