Dear Don,

You don't need to seek my inadequacies and sin to make a distance
between you and your saviour, there's simply too much of it. Christ
has already forgiven me for this, He already knows my inadequacies and
failings better than any man. But I point you toward Christ's Word,
and in confidence know that He has removed even the flesh from His
body so that you do not have a veil between you and your Lord. Pick up
Christ's Word, study it and search yourself in honesty to Christ.

God loved this world so much that He prepared the way over 'many'
generations and raised His only true Son amongst us. So that who ever
believed in Him should not perish, but have an ever lasting life. He
isn't interested in condemning us, but saving us from our own
condemnation.

Man loves darkness and evil ways, this is his natural state, each of
us are born that way and stay that way until we accept Christ our
saviour. Those who love darkness and evil ways hate the light and will
not come into it in case their evil ways become exposed to others.
Those who come into the light become truthful and their deeds are done
before God in His name. There is no 'purpose' except God's in His
Word.

"Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test
yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in
you?--unless indeed you are disqualified." NKJ 2Cr 13:5
