Dear Gary,
What do I know of their confessions before God and how they have
raised their child unless it is evident in their ways?
How was Christ raised and what became evident of His ways?
Jesus says that a child is welcomed into His father's kingdom and
tells 'us, the adults' the consequence of causing children to sin. How
did Christ know the weight of the millstone if He had not known the
suffering of His people caused by the sinning of His children?
Hitler was once the child of a parent, as was the Nazi commandant.
Were they brought up to love their neighbours as Christ taught?
In the fear and love of The Lord there is much each of us can do to
ensure that none of us wear that millstone to the point of our own
deaths. For example, you can come to know Christ's ways through a
deeper understanding in the study of His message on a daily basis and
through prayer. You can come to know of His ways in the greater
context of this world and of the consequence of our sin.
There will always be people who allow Satan to use their children as
his tool whether it be knowingly or unwittingly. There will always
have been people who have considered themselves to 'know God's ways'
who could have prayed, worked and loved for their protection but
didn't. They each know their millstone, it weighs heavier with age and
heaviest at death.
Today's world is brimming full with parents/adults who carry a
millstone around their neck, how is their sin greater or less than
that of the Nazi commandant? Is the hand of a killer more destructive
than the hands who raised the murderer of the multitude? Does Christ
not forgive all who truly repent?
How will you prevent the hand of the next Nazi commandant (or whatever
evil he is affiliated to)? What do you know of today's parents and how
they have raised their children? Where is the evidence of their
repentance to come on their death if they know even less of Christ's
ways than people 50+ years ago?
Love The Lord God with all your heart mind and soul and love your
neighbour as yourself. Accept Christ's gift of His life so that you
may repent of your sin and change your ways. See this world with the
new eyes of a healer for its sickness, and if you meet a child whose
parent wears a millstone teach that child Christ's message so that
they know. Be the neighbour the Nazi commandant never had and plant
The Word of God in their heart.
"and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and
become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of
heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the
greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child
like this in My name receives Me. "But whoever causes one of these
little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a
millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth
of the sea." NKJ Matthew 18:3-6
What do you now know of the fate of those Jewish parents you have
given up in example, knowing also that they were God's chosen people?
A child of a Jew is the child of a Jew, is the child of a Jew, who was
once a child of Moses people and a child of God.
If you were kneeling for your death this very minute do you now have
an understanding of whose child the Nazi commandant is and of the
weight of the millstone? The commandant can cry out for forgiveness
and receive it, the child has been welcomed into heaven by promise,
but millstone can drown people with its weight and take them into
hell.
