Certainly.
It is a percutaneous (puncture through the skin) procedure that does not
require general anesthesia (being put to sleep). There is a local
anesthetic (numbing medication) that is applied to the groin area after
the skin has been sterile prepped and draped in the usual manner. IV
medications (tranquilizers and painkillers) are given to bring about a
"twilight sleep" where the patient is comfortable and will experience no
pain. Slender catheters (tubes) are run up through blood vessels into
the heart with fluoroscopic (X-Ray) guidance to map out structures of
the heart and radiofrequency energy is delivered in multiple short
bursts to electrically isolate these structures from the rest of the
heart.
The entire procedure can take a few hours. Folks typically stay
overnight for telemetry heart monitoring and are able to leave the next
day. There may be some soreness and bruising in the groin area where
the puncture took place.

She (and you) will be in my prayers to God, in Christ's name :-)

Understandably.
Hope I've helped you.
