I'm 52 with type-2 diabetes and a strong family history of heart problems,
am obese, and was on Lipitor but, my CPK's went up to 8500, so, am on no
statins for now. While my stress tests and ekg's were all normal when I had
them, I'm still concerned that I'm a walking time bomb. I'm in a mild
exercise program.
Would it do any good to get one of the cardiac images I've been reading
about, or, are they just quackery?
Thanks.
