Makes as much sense as prescribing statins to diabetics, when peripheral
neuropathy is a known threat.
Dr. Gaist's 3 published studies show clearly that statins can cause
peripheral neuropathy - in fact, in patients over 50 on statins for 3 or
more years, the likelihood of peripheral neuropathy is 26 times greater, as
compared to the general population.
