Not "fear" but, EDUCATION and FOREWARNING, and then, yes, of course, common
sense.
Without education and forewarning, the common sense will just tell the
statin-adverse-effects-afflicted patient that he does not feel well. With
education and forewarning, the common sense will lead the patient to connect
the statin with the adverse effects, and bring them both to the attention of
his physician, then insist, if necessary, that the physician take action.
Fear is usually associated with the unknown. That is why you associate fear
with leaving the adverse effects out of public discussion. Education and
enlightenment and forewarning are associated, in combination with common
sense, with proactive self-determination, self-protection, and improved
health.
