The simple answer is, no. Taste is a matter of taste though and not
salt. The salt substitute, Mrs. Dash, has been greatly improved; but,
does it taste like salt? No, it does not. It is a substitute, not an
equivalent. There are now many different types of Mrs. Dash, each with
it's own specific purpose, vegetables, fish, chicken, etc.

The best answer is not to try and find a salt substitute, but rather to
try other means of flavoring your food. Once you kick the salt habit,
you will eventually find that whole, natural foods taste better and
flavors are more nuanced without salt - it is largely a matter of
acustomization. I now find soft drinks and many restaurant foods to be
too salty for my tastes.

Following are some food flavoring suggestions:

Extra virgin olive oil in small amounts also adds flavor.

What you have above is really just a starter list. There is a whole
word of spices out there, discover them.

Good luck!
