Your response to Susan was evocative, beautiful and right on target;
once again a reminder that your point of view on cardiovascular disease
treatment is *never* off topic for smc.

First, matters of the heart; then, medication. Not the other way
around. Fortunately Bill, if the newest studies and the popular press
are any indication, there is a sea change coming (sorry Pfizer couldn't
restrain myself). Sci.med has failed too many. Time to re-think this
approach and make all the other modalities at our disposal our first
choice.
