Ed,
I have a similar problem - 4xCAGB, high cholesterol, blood pressure
and stroke. I think what he'll need is a policy which covers his
known medical problems, not just any new ones. They're difficult to
find.
I use Citybond Suretravel (citybond.co.uk), which covers everything.
Can't help you on price, as I have an annual policy excluding North
America.
He'll need to undergo a health screening questionnaire, which he can
do over the phone. They quote a basic policy cost, then an extra
amount for declared problems.
