Valsartan v Lisinopril

My doctor has suggested that I change from Lisinopril to Valsartan in
an attempt to solve a problem with skin eruption and persistent sore
throat which he thinks may be as a result of being on Lisinopril (40mg
daily) for some years. I am a bit scared that my BP might not be
controlled as good. Thoughts anyone?
