am not Robert...but

hypertension and high cholesterol are BOTH risk factors for heart
disease....
thus...reducing cholesterol is important independently of reducing blood
pressure (ie..reducing both is ideal of course!!)...but we all know those
with normal chol but high blood pressure,,,or high cholesterol and normal
blood pressure...not that one causes the other,,but together there is an
additive risk for cardiovascular events..

wouldn't it be neat to ALSO lower your age,,,or change your
gender??(well...the latter only works if you go for undermenopause age,,as
by about 50 the risk of CV disease for women is pretty close to males)

risks are described as being "changeable...weight, exercise, lipids, blood
pressure,,diabetes control ,etc" and "un changeable...age, gender, and
genetics)

one has to work with the things it can change...

my h.o. of course

good question btw
