I can only speak for myself. But Statin muscle pain and joint pain
went away after stopping ingestion of Lipitor. This in about two
months. However my physical muscle loss which came on slow then hit
with a vengeance caused my calfs to go from about 18 inches to 14. This
will be a challenge to bring back. It took pain to get the muscle and
it will take pain (AKA Effort) to get it back. Lose seems to correlate
to gain hence hard to discern.

Last sentence may be of import for folks that enjoy muscle stuff. If
you decide to use a statin document your muscle girth and treat it the
same way your Doc looks at your weight. I know I mentioned this before
but is I feel it is a serious concern.
