I had Bright's disease. I told two different doctors over the years about
it and neither of them knew much about it such as what type of kidney
disease that it is. My present doctor knows that I had Bright's disease
when I was a baby. She called me after I made the post and told me that
she is not concerned about my creatinine level since it is only slightly
above normal. She wrote me a new presc. for Klor-Con which is
sustained-release potas. I am going to call her before I take it since I
had a bad case of hyperkalemia last week after eating a food that
contained a salt substitute. She was not happen with the low potas.
