Tricor / narcolepsy

I've been taking Tricor since May of 04. At first I had some
sleepyness / dizzyness but it kind of went away after a short time.
This was the original formula that had specific food needs, which I
followed.

While taking it in the morning I ended up getting more sleepy and dizzy
so I move it to nights. This went okay for a while as the side effects
were gone by the time I awoke.

I am now to the point where I am very dizzy for the entire 24 day
period. I am having almost narcoleptic reaction - where I catch
myself starting to drift off, even with a full nights sleep (8 hours.)

I narrowed it down to Tricor as the cause by testing over a week. On
the days on which I skip a dose, I notice a major positive difference.

As this is more dangerous than the possibility of that which Tricor is
trying to prevent, especially while driving, I have discontinued my use
of Tricor.

I will talk to my Doctor soon, but was wondering if there is any
documented cases of this with Tricor? I didn't see anything on the
Internet. Will my Doctor think I have/am hypochondriasis.
