Ok, thanks for all the additional info to put in my memory bank. I've
been reading til I'm blue in the face. I wish I knew 5 1/2 years ago
what I know now. No way in hell would I have allowed her to be started
on Lipitor. It might not kill her but it could end up killing me and
right now I don't have any health problems at 73 years old.
She survived a cardiac arrest in 1985 when they gave her a 0% chance
of making it, but she did, then again in 1988 when her liver, lungs
and thyroid begin failing at the same time from amioderone, she was on
deaths doorstep again but made it through that. Through all that she
was at least able up until she started Lipitor able to go out and walk
a block with me and walk to the mailbox etc. but now she has a hard
time making it to the end of the driveway which is 20 feet.
I ask the Dr about stopping Lipitor because of the problems and the Dr
says she doesn't want to because of the heart protection.
For christ sake, she's made it this far, why subject her to more pain.
I could ramble on for an hour but won't bore you any more.
