Hi.
I am 51 year and athletic. (Lifeguard in the local swimming bath). I have
incidentally been diagnosed a bicuspid aortic valve. 3 months ago my left
little toe was blue on the "pad". I had occasionally attack of pains who was
reliefed when I lay down.
I was at the hospital (rheumatological ward) for 1 week. When I became
discharged the doctor said to me, I could try to take 150 mg acetylsalicyl
acid. I did that and the blue little toe is now almost normal and the
pain-attacks is disappeared.
When I have been in the local swimming pool and cold after a swim, my heels
and my little toes is flaming in red - but with no pains! When I am dry and
warm again, my feets regains their usual color again.
Can there be a connection between the bicuspid aortic valve and the blue
little toe?
Kind regards
Steffen
