To answer Frankie's question, here are the numbers from my last blood
test along with additional information:
LDL: 75
HDL: 47
Triglycerides: 68
Total Cholesterol: 136
Glucose, Serum: 88
I had a bypass but no heart attack.
I asked my cardiologist about wine and he said 1-2 glasses a week would
be alright, but he doesn't recommend it.
I am taking 10 mg of Zocor and not ready to throw it away :-)
I do take fish oil that is supposedly mercury-free amounting to 600 EPA
and 400 DHA daily.
