Type 2 diabetes is normally preceded by years of slowly increasing
insulin, blood sugar, and enlarged waist. Type 2 diabetes is caused
by bad nutrition and lack of exercise.

So the message should be, let's reverse your Type 2 diabetes (while
you are still in the pre-diabetic phase) through proper nutrition (low
glycemic index -glycemic load diet) and exercise, rather than allow
the diabetes to progress to the risk of stroke and heart attack stage.
