Omron HEM-637 blood pressure machine

Because of a recent low blood pressure problem, I purchased an Omron
HEM-637 monitor for nearly $100.00. Today, I took it to my doctor's
office for comparison with their reading. Using the HEM-637 first, the
reading was 145/68; with the doctor's arm device it was 120/78. I was
very disappointed in the inaccuracy of my machine and called Omron
customer service. They told me there is a difference in blood pressure
readings from different places in the body, similar to differences in
temperatures taken at different places in the body. I asked her about
how much difference there should be, and she was unable to tell me and
referred me to my doctor.

Before posing this question to my doctor, can some one here tell me
about how much difference to expect between pressures taken with an arm
device, and a wrist device? Thanks!

    ...
