What's up with all the preaching?

A week ago, I posted a message on this group b/c I had a massive MI at
33 y.o. and have severe premature CAD. Needless to say, I am VERY
concerned and feel very alone on this.
There are been several very well conceived replies, and those I
appreciate greatly
However, since I posted the message, the thread has devolved into a
debate regarding god and religion. That is really weird.
If I wanted opinions re the finding god and religion, I would have
posted a message on sci.med.jesus.
Thanks.
