Much of what the writer says seems like speculation. For instance, the study
did not examine the effect of cholesterol-lowering drugs or other things
that lower (or raise) cholesterol, but only the person's cholesterol level.
Yet the writer thinks that lowering LDL in the elderly has been shown to be
bad.
