Went to google search and typed in "Statins and side effects".....many
many pages of personal posts, all complaining of similiar problems. I
should have worded the fact as 90 % of those complaining were muscle
problems.

And so you admit that the premise upon which your chain of arguments is
built is false.

It sounds very scientific to me. If you compare the number of posts by
people complaining about muscle symptoms compared to those dead people
posting who died of heart attacks then the numbers are very one sided.

So, you are claiming that every single person who does NOT take a statin
WILL die of a heart attack? Or is it that you are claiming they have
already died of heart attack? Also, how about those who do not post because
they have died of statin AEs, such as rhabdomyolysis or statin-triggered
ALS?

Further, you are assuming that the complaints of adverse effects are about
problems less serious than a heart attack?

For the record, the disabling and debilitating serious adverse effects of
statins can take far longer to recover from, and can do more damage than,
some heart attacks.

This is not to say that the numbers are comparable, only to show that your
comment is baseless and facetious and that it trivializes the pain and
suffering from statin AEs that is severe enough to disable, debilitate,
kill - serious enough to cause people to make the effort to seek out
confirmation that the statins are responsible, and to post their stories in
hopes of identifying a treatment toward a full recovery (currently
nonexistent), and in hopes of warning others so they may not need to suffer
so profoundly.

Your trivialization of this is unbecoming.
