No. It seems wisdom eludes you.

why does wisdom elude me?

just from asking questions?

How does one get wisdom without asking questions?

I agree that losing weight is FIRST step...... I'm
mainly asking if I should get the Lipo test as well vs
standard cholesterol test

Dr Chung is not your doctor so I wouldn't worry about it.
Ask for a VAP test to give you all the facts pertaining to your lipid
profile. Direct measurements are better in cases of insulin resistance vs
calculated LDL levels. You want to know all the risk factors and deal with
all of them but you can only do so after finding out what they are.
A single cholesterol level or boiling down to one simple ratio of this and
that doesn't really do it.
Total risk assessment is adding up all the risk factors including family
history, hypertension, diabetes combined with laboratory markers of particle
size and quantification of each sub-fraction such as Lp(a) not found in
regular lipid panels.
