No it was you who was talking about Rhabdomyolysis and I responded to you
in
that context. You then say it is one in 1000 for myopathy - which had
nothing
to do with what you were discussing. And again the question is why did you
simply not go back and check to see what the context was?

Do you see why it is impossible to have a conversation with you.

The title of this thread is Atorvastatin Appears Safe at High Doses. You
challenged that and said Clinical trials are wrong because the cherry pick.
You wanted to give statins to people with liver disease. It took quite a
while
to convinice you that this was wrong and the same to do experiments on
kidney
disease.

You have nothing to back up your point that studies should be done on
people
with kidney disease and evidence that points the other way. So provide the
evidence.

Bill,
The only evidence that I have is that statins do cause some people to
develop Rhab. Do you agree or disagree that this is evidence.

This is not evidence that this has anything to do with kidneys and why do you
think it does? That does not make sense. Also the rareness of Reab. itself
should suggest to you that it would be even more rare to have Reab. associated
with kidney problems + statins.

Bill

It's the
primary reason that I would like for there to be clinical trials to
determine the risk related to prescribing statins to patients that have
kidney disease.
