If the procedure is successful and all the narrowed arteries are opened
then you will feel better soon, especially if the disease is more
severe you will feel better more quickly.
On the contrary, if the disease is too severe to be treated by
angioplasty then you may need coronary artery bypass graft surgery;
that is another story.
Angioplasty could be done via radial artery (around wrist) or femoral
artery (around groin); if it is done via radial artery you can walk out
the cath lab immediatly after the procedure, if is is done via femoral
artery then you have to keep bed rest and leg straight for at least 4-6
hours.
