Whoa! Fascinating... this must be that "beam in thine own eye"
effect we've all heard so much about.

Yes. Removed... by the power of Christ.

I thought the moral of that lesson was to take care of your own log and
stop worrying about the speck of dust in the other guy's eye.

Actually, the lesson has an infinite number of levels of meaning.

For a mind that prizes mysticism and magic over logic that may be true.
However, what Jesus reportedly said, and what you disingenuously snipped
as though you reject Jesus' teaching, was a direct assertion that each
individual is to care for his own shortcomings and sins: "You
hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see
clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye." I think he said
it pretty clearly.

Still praying for you, dear Don whom I love in Jesus' most awesome and
most holy name.

seeing the risen Jesus Christ.

In truth, I most assuredly know the LORD to be kind, just and right.

Will be available to "glow" and chat about this and other things like
cardiology, diabetes, Bird Flu, the Lamb's opening of the 6th seal (Rev.
6:12), cooking and nutrition that interest those following this thread
here during the next on-line chat(05/11/06) from 5 to 6 pm EST, LORD
