Hi, Andy! Just wandering what you thought about this:

Reminds me of 08/09/1945

Why doesn't it remind you of Hiroshima, three days earlier and much more
deadly?

The ways of the Holy Spirit are inscrutable.

So are the ways of religious fanatics. :-)

Neither one brought the "end of the world", apparently.

It was the end of the world as they knew it for eyewitnesses.

Only metaphorically; there are still surviving eyewitnesses of both
blasts, and many of the "Hiroshima Maidens" came to the US after the war
for corrective surgery and other treatments.

Claiming it was the end of the world for anybody subverts the religious
meaning of "end of the world" which you profess to believe in. If
there had been any example of "the end of the world" there would be no
general resurrection, no tribulation, no heaven.

Further, the article PF cites basically debunks one batch of "end of the
world" forecasts (specifically about Iran, interestingly enough), it
doesn't confirm them.

Does not matter as far as the Holy Spirit is concerned.

Makes your nuclear holocaust over Iran seem even more dubious, though,
doesn't it? :-)
