I don't know if you're "silly"
Please post back every so often and let us know if you're getting similar symptoms
Thanks.

I vaguely remember reading something here suggesting that pantethine effect the body in ways that are similar to the statins.
I stopped taking Crestor about a year ago because I suffer from fibromyalgia and it seemed that my tendons and general level of muscle aches were worse.
I was then off all cholesterol related meds until I started taking Pantethine about 2 months ago.
I am again having a flair up of fibromyalgia and I don't know whether it is related to the pantethine or simply to the very real fact that fibromyalgia gets better and worse in response to many different stressors and has nothing to do with the pantethine. I would like to avoid going off the pantethine if it is not likely to be the cause.
Does anyone know much about the possibilities of pantethine causing muscular/tendon kinds of difficulties - or exacerbating them?
TIA
Louise
It took me with increasing dosages of liptor about three years to notice something was amiss. One year later after stopping meds no further loss but no rapid comeback. I think muscle loss is easy and repair requires hard work.
Calfs went from 18 inches to 14 inches.
My heart being a muscle ... this disturbs me of possible implications.
My joints still hurt especially hands.
Pantethine for two months no comment but I take it. Silly me.
Sorry Louise no easy answer!
Bill
