Exactly, but some only want some basic information and it is those for
whom this is being posted. More technical information would help all
and uplift the quality of the newsgroup greatly. Mickey Mouse has other
agendas including populating his hat with feathers of dubious medical
and scientific advice and information and goes to almost any length to
avoid technical discussion as that is a reserved area he wants to stake
out for himself. In fact his level of information is quite poor in many
areas and greatly distorted in even those of which he does know
something.
"Is there a discussion group at the mirkin site?"
I think so, I only subscribe to his newsletter for general information
that sometimes leads to quality research when followed up with the
references provided.
Bty, without going into detail, I read the newsgroups in a way that
precludes kill files but do skip much of the noise. However I see the
potential the mischief behavior has for real medical concerns and feel a
need to make it known.
That doesn't work on Usenet. By its nature, it is unmoderated and open to
all.
Correct.
It is analogous to a bulletin board at your local town square.
As such it operates on the principles of free speech on which the
U.S.A. is well founded.
Therefore, newsreaders come with filtering so that a participant can
read what he is truly interested in and not the rest. Reading a newsgroup
without the proper software to do so must be wild...
Not for those who have GOD's love in their hearts.
Complaining about other
posters and trying to shut them up or change them only adds to the noise you
are complaining about.
Not to mention the inherent hypocrisy.
With that, I'll stop adding to the noise myself... ;-)
You are forgiven as far as I am concerned.
May GOD continue to keep your heart beating, dear neighbor Jim whom I
love unconditionally.
Prayerfully in Christ's amazing love,
Andrew <><

As for knowing who are the very elect, these you will know by the
unconditional love they have for everyone including their enemies
(Matthew 5:44-45, 1 Corinthians 13:3, James 2:14-17).
