Hello, as stated I am prone to worry and while i can see where the
treatment depends on the
stress test outcome, i remain confused as to what the possibilities of
a serious situation
may be. Please understand that I thought cardio exercise was a good
thing and pursued it
with consistency for a year, so the notion that there is an abnormality
after losing weight and
lowering my cholesterol through better diet and exercise leaves me
wondering what the nature
of the problem could be.. Adding to my anxiety is that i cannot speak
to my doctor until
Thursday - and have no idea what the proposal would be, but if a stress
test, i can imagine it
will be something that has to be scheduled well in advance. Given that
I have had my first
vacation in over a year scheduled to start on Saturday...it certainly
puts a damper on my ability
to relax, y'know? I guess i'm just looking for some measure of
encouragement that, this might
not be anything 'major' or otherwise, what treatment/living with the
situation may mean...and
how well 'manageable' it is to live with..? Any and all thoughts
kindly appreciated..
Mike, the finding so far suggests that some of your heart muscle is not
receiving a normal supply of oxygen via the bloodstream. That suggests that
you have some blockage in the coronary arteries. It does not prove it.
A stress test is probably the next step. It will probably not show an urgent
problem.
Eating right, exercising, and losing weight will reduce progression as well
as reduce the chance of clots. It does not guarantee freedom from heart
disease, however. Nothing can do that.
Actually, GOD, Creator of heaven and earth, can guarantee freedom from
heart disease.
May GOD continue to heal our hearts with HIS living water curing our
depression, anxiety, or panic so that we can love our neighbors a
little more and LORD Jesus Christ a lot more, dear neighbor Jim whom I
love unconditionally.
Prayerfully in Christ's amazing love,
Andrew <><

As for knowing who are the very elect, these you will know by the
unconditional love they have for everyone including their enemies
(Matthew 5:44-45, 1 Corinthians 13:3, James 2:14-17).
