This is why I bother to respond to mr. chung, he is just plain wrong in
his opinion and some diabetic might suffer if confused by what he says.
Two pounds of a high carb diet would be very counter productive to good
glucose control. The meter advice is right on target, one should
balance level of available insulin to carb intake and one knows if post
meal glucose goals are being met using ones glucose meter.
His opinion is ignorant of current diabetes literature, it distorts
scientific evidence in pursuit of a non-scientific goal, it can make
diabetes much worse if followed, one can with great peace of mind ignore
it as the truth is not in it.
