Hello
My Mom age 55 years had a TMT (Treadmill Stress Test) few eeks back
In the report its written
' No Angina . Significant ST Changes Seen '
' Treadmill stress test is strongly positive for Ischemic heart
disease'
Can some one please tell me what does this signify ?
The result is abnormal in a manner that would indicate that your mom
has significant occlusive coronary disease.
However, if the reason for the stress test is because of chest pain,
the cause of chest pain has not been found because your mom did not
have chest pain while her cardiogram was suggesting inadequate
myocardial perfusion during exercise.
Thanks
You're welcome, Nitin :-)
