forcing you to take them.
I have been doing some reading on plant sterols, and there seem to be
some serious concerns over whether or not they are atherogenic. I
plan to post some information on this some time soon. So far as I
know, there are no clinical trials planned that would settle the
question of the effect of plant sterols on clinical endpoints.
Presumably, such a trial would have to be funded by the government,
since plant sterols aren't patentable.
