I was told that filtered brewed coffee does not have cholestrol while
instant coffee has. Is that true?
TKS
Cooking coffee by throwing a couple tablespoons of grounds into a pot with
water, boiling it, then decanting it, kicked my tot cholesterol up about 70
units.
There was some research done on cholesterol problems in Scvandinavia in the
early '90s, that attributed the problem to making coffee like I described
above.
Making coffee with papaer filters apparently nearly eliminates the problem.
So from now on if I am on purely brewed and filtered coffee, I would
be much safer than if I were to economize by using instant coffee with
cream and sugar.
