Occasionnal high BP

When taking home readings, my systolic blood pressure occasionally
goes beyond the 140 limit. It happens maybe once every 10 reading and
does not exceed 150. My diastolic almost never exceeds 90, maybe once
every 40 readings. From several readings taken, my average blood
pressure is around 130/80 (during day) in the dominant arm and
slightly lower in the other. I am wondering if occasional readings of
high BP are of concern for a 26 years old physically fit and active
male, 6'0 190 lbs with a resting HR in the 50's and normal blood test
results? At what point usually someone is declared hypertensive? In
other words, is it solely based on the average BP or occasional high
readings may be enough?
I am going to visit a cardiologist soon but trying to get some info
ahead of what his potential recommendations may be.
Thanks in advance for any help.
