150 years ago the average lifespan was ...oh maybe 40 or so years...
the larger majority of heart disease is seen in those over 50..so extended
lifespan is a big factor
not to mention ..no fast or junk foods...most worked at heavy labor
jobs..not behind desks...etc...
smoking was still an issue tho..
not sure where you got your death stats for bypass surgery...but if 4% died
on the table or soon after...that center would likely lose their
accreditation etc...
perhaps you are a scammer??

150 years ago heart disease was virtually unheard of. Today it is the
#1 cause of death in America. It kills nearly 30% of us. In fact, it
kills more women than all forms of cancer, chronic lung disease,
pneumonia, AIDS, diabetes and accidents combined.
These secrets to good heart health do NOT rely on prescription drugs
and needless surgery - which is probably why you'll never hear about
them from conventional sources.
In one year, 407,000 patients had bypass surgery. Around 4% (over
16,000) of these patients died on the table or a few weeks later.
That same year, the 400,000 patients who had angioplasty surgery
didn't do much better , another 2 to 4% of these patients also died.
The conservative medical establishment's own Journal of the American
Medical Association admits that nearly 50% of all bypass patients
shouldn't have had this deadly surgery.
In other words, most heart surgeries and resulting deaths are
unnecessary , and doctors know this!
Of course when a patient dies while taking powerful drugs, during or
shortly after surgery, the doctor is likely to say that he or she
would probably have died anyway.
