Andrew:
I believe it will be of benefit to have an open dialog between you and I.
I am going to request that you, as I will, refrain from discussion,
comment, just you and I in this thread. Feel free to take our discussion in
any way that you choose, it is open and there are no boundaries.
First, let me tell you how much I have missed our many meetings. Both as
friend-friend and as physician-patient. I look back at the calendar and
cannot believe that it was too many years ago when we broke (cheap)
Blimpie's bread and signed off on the 2PD.
So let's start there.
I fell short in my promise to supply my written input for the Two Pound
Diet (2PD). My perspective was to come from the fitness side, more or less,
using my experiences in the strength, power, movement training of
innumerable highly athletic and non athletic people.
What I kept running into is the fact that overfat = overconsumption has
little to do with physiological issues. The issues lie elsewhere, mentally,
emotionally, psychologically, and, yes, spiritually. I found myself
stumped. I wrote much, produced little of value for our project.
Over to you.
