Great advice, except perhaps when the "optimal amount" is a rigidly set 2
pounds/day for all adult humans, no matter their weight, activity level,
age, medical history, or any other salient characteristic; no matter how
many or few calories in or the composition of that 2 pounds; and the 2-pound
figure is determined not by application of scientific principles, but solely
on bizarre and patently incorrect interpretations of the bible.
