Does anybody know of any support groups for victims of IRB approved
research studies?  I am not sure if there is a support group for
victims of NIH federally funded studies.  I would like to start one
because 11 years is too long to suffer with no help.  Oh yes, I found
the Office of Human Research Protection at the National Institute of
Health but they told me that they were there to protect the RESEARCH
not the HUMANS.  Ha Ha silly me! :)- Hide quoted text -

Thanks for the advice but medical malpracticed does not cover my
situation. I have been told by lawyers o'plenty that my case:

-Is too delicate. (took a while for me to know what THAT meant!)

-Requires more resources than this lawfirm has...(apparently more than
ANY lawfirm has!)

-It happened in a COUNTY ie GOVERNMENT hospital, too bad you can't
fight the government, they have deep pockets, endless funds from
taxpayers dollars.

-Nobody cares because doctors need to practice somewhere and folks
backing the hospital with the big bucks expect to "lose a few for the
benefit of the many."

-Go to the media.

Oh and my VERY FAVORITE comment of all, heard ad nauseum....GOOD
LUCK!!!

So, having spent over 11 years trying to get medical help or diagnoses
for my chronic fatigue, pain, foggy thinking, loss of seat(an
equestrian thing meaning balance for riding) etc. I will attempt to
tell my story. Laurabarret.blogspot.com.

I see that it has already disappeared, imagine. Sure is hard to go to
the media when my phone and computer don't work like they should.

Warmly, Laura..just a gal wanting to ride.
