Be Smart.

Dear Dr. Chung,

I am a 40 year old man who stands 6 feet tall and has a medium frame.
I have lost over 50 lbs. down to about 170lbs. (which everyone seems
to think is just amazing). But I still have a lot of belly fat in my
opinion. My waist circumference when measured around the navel is
about 36 inches. I want to get it down to at least 32 inches or less.
I have put myself on a strict diet of a small orange and small banana
for breakfast. Spinach salad with a dab of canola oil and vinegar for
lunch. And 4 oz. of salmon with about 8 oz (one half of a can of no
salt added green beans) for dinner. This does not deviate much from my
regular diet over the past 16 months, other than the more restricted
amounts and the elimination of breads, grains and starches. Although I
think I might include 3 or 4 tablespoons of raw oatmeal for breakfast
as well. My cholesterol is down from 210 to 130 from a year ago (my
LDL is below minimum at 63). My biggest obstacle is hypertension. Even
though my current readings are OK at around 120/65 (used to be like
160/90), I'm still on Avilide 300/12.5, which I want to get off of
altogether. Hypertension is extremely prevalent in both father's and
mother's family history. I feel confident that if I eliminate all
excess belly fat (my last ounce of excess fat will be in my belly) I
can bring my BP to something like 115/60, without the aid of
medication. That's my goal anyway. I exercise all day long. In a 10
hr. period I do over 200 push ups (8 to 10 sets of 25 to 30) 800 to
1000 jumping jacks / star jumps (8 to 10 sets of 100) and then spend
one hour on both the treadmill and resistance machine. In addition I
also work out with resistance bands everyday and weight lift some days
(like the rest, but kind of dislike weight lifting for some reason).
And I go to bed early enough so that my body can sleep as long as it
wants, and wake naturally.

For the word of God is living and active.
Sharper than any double-edged sword,
it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow;
it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12

Amen.

There is one optimal amount of food for each of us.

This is by GOD's design.

According to the Word of GOD, this optimal amount is known as an omer (Exodus 16:16).

If you wish to be optimally healthy, you will need to make sure you are eating the optimal amount per day (this is the 2PD-OMER Approach).

Folks who are optimally healthy are slender at the waistline and have no medical problems.

The healthiest people in the world are also the hungriest people in the world.

It remains smarter to simply and freely eat less, down to the right amount in order to lose all the VAT thereby possibly curing all medical problems:

Hunger is wonderful:

It's how we know what GOD desires, which is all that is good.

Yes, hunger is our knowledge of good versus evil that Adam and Eve paid for with their and our immortal lives.

Those who suffer from the powerful delusion predicted by the prophecy of 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 would deny this and perish ( gone !!! ) forever ...
