Ah, that makes everything clear. He's giving away the DIV because he
has 625,000 back orders for the new versions. The printer must be
overwhelmed, and it would be awful if parts of the two versions got
interchanged (but amusing, I bet). I sort of lean toward the more
literary sounding TOCS/IC.

This proliferation cries out for a concordance.
