I have a patient that has a mouth full of work to be done. She has the
best indemnity insurance out there I believe her plan pays $3000 per
year.
This is very rare to find. She never comes in.
People do not like going to the dentist because they are taught by the
media and past experience it hurts. That is why the insurance
companies make money they count on people not showing up for
dentistry.

Again people do not need teeth they think they do because they want to
look good maintain an image of upper class, they want to have an
implant vs an empty space. That is one of the reasons why dental cost
figures are up.

And going back to the code issue,
pretty soon dentists will be charging by the hour plus materials and
the policy holders will have to buy the codes from the ADA to fill out
their own claim forms.
