It's beyond my scope of comprehension.
A patient needed an emergency endo on a lower first molar this morning.
A conventional block had her lip and tongue quite numb, but the tooth
was still 'hot' by the time I was getting to the pulp.
Took off the rubber dam and gave a Stabident injection (1/2 carp.
Marcaine), put the dam back on, and proceeded without incident.
Three to four extra minutes for *complete anesthesia* at a very minimal
cost. Why would any dentist skimp on anesthetic?
