If the ratio of Hg to powder is low,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the mix comes out dry and
cannot be packed into the hole. If there is too much Hg in the mix, it will
be too liquid and again will not be able to pack into the hole. What you
are describing does not happen. If the ratio of Hg to powder is off, the
mixture cannot be used. If it is off a tiny amount, the properties are not
effected in any measurable way.
