Sounds as though your dentist should be able to advise you as to *why*
your symptoms could be treated effectively with an NTI. There are never
any guarantees in medicine but some treatment options carry less risk
and better outcomes than others. You need to expect to find a dentist
capable of explaining this to you. Otherwise, you could find yourself
in the hands of a surgeon for absolutely no good reason ... that is,
without medical necessity.
