Why don't you finance the treatment through "dental fee plan" or some
other 3rd party financing get the bridge changed now and ask your
dentist to send the claim in Jan 1 2005. You will get a check in about
30-60 days. Then pay off the loan there are no penalties since your
dentist will pay part of the interest upfront.

This way you get to enjoy your bridge now vs walking around with
unhealthy teeth.
