I cannot speak for direct experience with Orex. The previous third scanner
(prior to this design) was not well received and was conceptually less well
designed. I have only seen the new design on journal advertisements.

What you could do is ask your software technicians which scanner they have
the least trouble getting their imaging software to work with.

Obviously after almost 6 years with no troubles, I am biased in thinking
that Denoptix is better. But, that is my "bias".

Make sure you make it to the next dental meeting in your area and compare
each scanner physically in person on the same day. You might find one or
two which seem particularly awkward to you.
