SP,

You make me laugh. You are getting into the lovelorn advice.
Do you think a real man would or could replace the NTI appliance. Just
kidding.
Good advice all the way around.

And, for a general question, how does one dispose of a thermometer. I have
one outside, and from all the warnings, beginning to think it may explode in
the cold. and do not want to endanger the sanitation men by throwing it into
the collected garbage

For everyone:
and WAY, WAY, OFF TOPIC. with a unswerving need to vent. Bear with me, or
delete the following.

I am in the murderous stage. The woman in the nursing home on an
anti-depressant has an unswerving power to attract vulnerable persons. (as all
stimulant takers are prone to) My friend being the most vulnerable, she is
turning into an unrecognizable monster. The worker who was affected has left
the home's employment. That leaves my friend as the most likely follower.
Fortunately, I have gotten them to change her room, but I didn't realize she
sits at the same table at mealtime next to the anti-depressant. They agreed
to change her seating, but she keeps defying everyone and goes back to sitting
next to the anti-depressant. Is it worth her life for the other to be taking
a small pill that is not necessary when she can be taking Valium. The
workers are all sick of me mentioning anti-depressant. They haven't the
vaguest idea what that has to do with anything. Nor have many others. But
the consequences are clear.
They can kill an unsuspecting person.
Which brings me to the fact that G-d has set it up both ways. One can become
paranoid or kill themselves with drugs by accidental overdose when the effects
are so rapid that countermeasures are not possible. And the other side when
one can harm or kill an innocent person by the use of a stimulant. WHY,
WHY,WHY, talk to the wall.
Sorry for the intrusion, and it grieves me to see hostile discord among all
the people I have come to care about.

As for my theory, someone said 'A breakthrough can come with a break with"
